On Friday 18th March 2011 four employees of the Ambulance & Rescue Service successfully completed the I.H.C.D. Ambulance Aid and Ambulance Driving courses, both are nationally accredited qualifications.

The course was carried out on the island for the first time in the St John Ambulance & Rescue Services 75 year history.

The first four students to undertake the training in Guernsey were Sharon Le Cras, Nick Davison, Dean Robilliard and Nick Peters.
