St John Ambulance Guernsey is delighted to be working with members of the GMTS (Guernsey Motorcycle Training Scheme) who have very kindly volunteered to help with collecting and delivering prescriptions.

The volunteers will collect and deliver essential prescription medication for those people who, due to the COVID-19 outbreak, are currently shielding – the vulnerable and elderly who have been advised not to go out – and also for those within the community who cannot leave home – for example due to illness or disability.

All GMTS members wear high visibility clothing, have lockable panniers on their motorbikes and carry States of Guernsey ID.

We are so grateful for the volunteer help of GMTS.  If you see any GMTS members out and about on their motorbikes, in their high viz jackets, please give them a wave.

If you, or anyone you know, is currently shielding at home or cannot leave home for medical reasons, please call us on 742147.

If you would like to become a volunteer for St John Ambulance Guernsey, please email us on recruitment@stjohn.gg
