Congratulations to the  SJARS emergency services raft team: John Le Page, Kelly Marquis, Nick Peters, Jeremy Lovell, Jonathan Le Ray and Stuart Malley, for coming second in the Emergency Services Raft Race at Guernsey’s annual Harbour Carnival event, held at the harbour in the Island’s town of St Peter Port, to raise money for local charities.

Despite some ‘interesting’ tactics by both the Airport Fire & Rescue Team and the Guernsey Fire & Rescue Team, the St John Ambulance & Rescue Team put up a good fight finishing second behind the RNLI.
