St John Emergency Ambulance Service is looking to appoint qualified clinicians.

The St John Emergency Ambulance Service works in partnership with Health & Social Care and delivers pre-hospital ambulance care for the island of Guernsey. We employ 55 staff and are supported by volunteers, who together attend over 6,000 patients a year.  Our ambulance clinicians  serve our community; providing excellence in care by trusted professionals.

We welcome inquiries from: Paramedics, Emergency Medical Technicians and Emergency Care Assistants

As an HCPC-registered paramedic, you will be responsible for providing high-quality and effective clinical care to the community by responding to a wide range of situations including medical emergencies, urgent hospital  admissions and routine journeys such as inter-hospital transfers. You’ll also provide clinical leadership to our IHCD Technician and ECA grades, bringing to life your CPD portfolio in relation to mentorship of others.

Technicians and Emergency Care Assistants will provide compassionate, professional and high-quality patient care while responding to both emergency and non-emergency patient transport. To provide the best quality care to our patients and uphold our high standards, you will operate within IHCD & JRCALC guidelines and have the ability to recognise any potential safeguarding issues and report accordingly.

The Emergency Ambulance Service (Guernsey) is a progressive, forward thinking organisation and we welcome applications from a diverse cross-section of health care professionals who are credible clinicians.
