St John Emergency Ambulance Service is looking to recruit a full-time Emergency Care Assistant.

The successful applicant will be part of a small team delivering a safe and effective non-emergency Patient Transfer Service and providing relief cover for emergency ambulance operations.

If you have a genuine commitment to care for others and excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels, we want to hear from you.

The position will require the candidate to work flexibly, usual working hours will be between 0800hrs and 1800hrs Monday to Friday, with cover occasionally required outside of these times. The successful applicant will require a minimum of 5 GCSE’s of Grade C or above, including maths, English and a science, with the ability to progress and obtain Emergency Medical Technician and emergency driving qualifications.
