Volunteers Week is all about celebrating the men and women who keep organisations like St John going. We couldn’t exist without them and would like to take this opportunity to say a very special thank you to all the following volunteer teams for their continued hard work, time and dedication:

Community First Responders, Marine Ambulance Crew, Youth Leaders, Library Assistants, Cliff Rescue Team, Ambulance Reservists, Medical Air Escorts, First Aiders, Inshore Rescue Crew, Ambulance Care Assistants, Administration Assistants and St John Cadets.

To mark volunteers’ week Jim Cathcart of BBC Radio Guernsey spoke to members of the cliff rescue and community first responders teams. Steve and David talked about their experiences with St John, what they get out of volunteering and how it fits with their day job.
