The latest winner of a year’s free membership to the St John Supporter Scheme is local resident Stuart Smale.

Mr Smale was entered into the draw after completing the St John Emergency Ambulance Service Patient Experience Survey. He and his wife will now be given family membership for 2019, which entitles them to:

• Unlimited free emergency ambulance responses
• Assessment and medical treatment by paramedics or other qualified ambulance clinicians
• 10 transfers by non-emergency ambulance under the directions of a Health Care Professional, when unfit to travel by other means for treatment or medical appointment.

We received numerous responses to our latest survey and the results give us valuable feedback on the day-to-day work of the Emergency Ambulance Service.

The Supporter Scheme helps us provide essential services and supports the work of St John.
