An opportunity has arisen with the Emergency Ambulance Service for a Senior Officer. The principal role will be to assist and support the Deputy Chief Officer in  providing  tactical leadership and change management to the Service. This will be aligned to the vision and objectives of the organisation providing Guernsey’s ambulance service, and associated rescue and community activities.

The successful candidate will be dynamic with proven ability to lead and inspire others. Whilst a clinical background is not a requirement the applicant will be able to demonstrate previous management and command experience preferably  from  an emergency service. He/she will be working as a member of the senior management team while the ambulance service goes through a significant period of change and therefore must be able to meet the key criteria that is required for this role.

Responsibilities of this varied  and  challenging role  include  the  management of ambulance operations and the other services provided by this unique organisation.
