Senior St John Emergency Ambulance Service officers Dean De La Mare, Carrie Goodall as well as Chief Officer Jon Beausire and Deputy Chief Officer Ali Marquis have attended the 2016 Ambulance Leadership forum held in Leicester.

The two day conference saw senior managers from across the UK come together to discuss topics at the top of the agenda for ambulance services.

This year the forum focussed on a sense of optimism at a time of great challenges for the emergency care system. Talks stressed the importance of strong leadership skills to ensure services survive and thrive in the future.

The event which was attended by over 200 delegates acted as a great networking opportunity for St John Guernsey, giving the senior staff the chance to share their skills and expertise with other services from across the UK; including senior managers from the Isle of Wight, Isle of Man and Jersey.
