The success of St John in providing a rapid response to life-saving incidents and services to the community has evolved over the last 75 years. Immediate response is critical for injured casualties and can dramatically improve chances of survival and speed of recovery.
Our rescue services; cliff rescue, inshore rescue and marine ambulance operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and extend the range of medical treatment that St John provides every day to the Bailiwick of Guernsey, with its land-based emergency ambulance service. We also provide various other services to the community, such as providing first aid cover to public events, which wouldn’t be possible without your generosity.
St John does not receive funding to support these extra services from the local government, the States of Guernsey. Each year regular donations are needed to keep them operational and serving the community. Their existence relies entirely on financial support from local businesses and donations from the public. Without this tremendous support, the continuation of many of St Johns’ services would not be possible.
We would ask you to get involved with St John or donate today – your support will make a difference!
