St John provides the opportunity for students to get an insight into the various roles carried out by its employees.  This can assist them with deciding whether they would be interested in a future career with the Service.

During his day, Jack was given a tour of Ambulance Headquarters, the St John Health Care Shop and the St John rescue equipment including the Inshore Rescue Boats.  He then spent time out on the road observing the Ambulance Care Assistants undertaking their role, transferring patients to and from various locations throughout the day.

Jack commented that he had enjoyed his time with St John and thanked the employees for looking after him during his visit.
