Three members of the Service were recently awarded with their ‘Ambulance Service (Emergency Duties) Long Service and Good Conduct’ Medal’s.

The medals were presented by the islands Lieutenant Governor at Government House in Guernsey.

This award is gained after completing 20 years of exemplary service to emergency ambulance service duties.

The Ambulance Service Long Service and Good Conduct Medal was awarded to:

  • Assistant Chief Officer Andrew Walford;
  • Paramedic Andrew Barrett;
  • Emergency Medical Technician Mark Beardow.
