The Healthcare Equipment Centre recently organised a local training day for healthcare professionals.  Many Occupational Therapists attended the day along with staff from Residential and Nursing homes.   The subject was on seating, and the importance of having appropriate seating not only for comfort, but also to increase function, to prevent skin breakdown, support, and to promote good postural alignment.  The company “Seating Matters” came to Guernsey to carry out the training.
