Congratulations to paramedic Nicolette Hamon who has been recognised for her work with the Emergency Ambulance Service, having received the most appreciations from patients in 2019.

The service regularly receives letters and cards from patients and relatives, praising and thanking our ambulance staff, praising their professionalism, care, helpfulness and understanding.

Emergency Medical Technician Kadie Ormrod received the second highest number of accolades.

Nicolette joined the ambulance service as an Emergency Medical Technician in 2005. She trained and qualified as a paramedic in 2016. Nicolette recently completed her BSC Honours degree in Developing Paramedic Practice, after studying with Cumbria University.

Nicolette was also presented with her long service award having completed fifteen years as a clinician with Guernsey’s emergency ambulance service.

The award was presented by St John Guernsey Chairman, Mr Stuart Place.
