St John HealthCare is now the official agent for Terry Lifts

St John HealthCare aims to improve the lives of people in the Bailiwick by providing access and mobility advice, and supplying products that help remove the barriers to easy and independent access in the home and commercial properties.

Our vision also supports the Health & Social Care Committee’s Partnership of Purpose model.

We are pleased to announce that St John HealthCare is now the official Channel Island agent for Terry Lifts. That means we are now able to supply and install a wide range of home lifts, platform lifts and step lifts.

St John HealthCare staff are now trained to undertake surveying, installation and after-sales support. This means we can help people by making adjustments which help remove physical barriers around the home, allowing them to enjoy their own homes for longer, removing the need to move house.

The Terry Lift range also provides solutions to problems with public access for people with reduced mobility.

Our team has just completed their first installation at a private home in Guernsey.

Alan Armstrong, Maintenance Engineer at St John HealthCare said:

“It is amazing to see how with a bit of adjustment and minimal disruption we can make a house accessible again. The lifts are designed to fit-in with the existing surroundings and look like part of the home. It’s a great feeling when you see how much of a difference it can make to people who had previously been struggling to get easily from one part of the house to another.”

St John HealthCare on the Rohais, is also the official Channel Island agent for Stannah Stairlifts and stocks more than 1000 access, mobility and healthcare products.
